Indeed - PJDV8 said he was getting a V8 AMR Halo, flappy paddle coupe.

Mafisher said he was getting a V12 AMR Ultramarine coupe, can't remember transmission choice

So glad you tidied up the spacing on Graham's entry Ian - was driving my OCD mad ! Have changed the H in Rob's halo to Halo, just for consistency :-)

Coupes now making a good comeback now against Roadsters.

An overwhelming vote of confidence in the 7spd dogleg manual though, and interestingly SSIII doesn't have a single vote in our 11% allocation of worldwide production.

Question for Marcel - IIRC you have luggage for your DBS which is not in the usual format - 3 or 4 holdalls of varying sizes ?

Standard 4 piece set for vantage roadster (which I had on my last roadsters) is small & large holdalls, garment bag and beauty case. But I think the extra large holdall might fit, particularly if not at the same time as garment bag - any thoughts ? What size holdalls do/did you have ?

Hi Jon. Yes I did get some Q luggage for the DBS, and requested that they swap the beauty case for a second small hold-all, so my set consists of 1x Garment bag, 1x medium hold-all, 2x small hold-all.

I also test fitted them in the loaner V8S Roadster I had from Lancaster Sevenoaks, and the set fits fine, just that I need to put the small hold-alls on their sides. Bizarrely, there is more usable space above the medium hold-all for coats / wife’s boots compared to the DBS (even with the wind deflector in the boot). With the DBS, I had to remove the wind deflector from the boot to fit the complete set.

I hadn't thought about the holdalls on their ends like that - very clever

I think the standard larger holdall in the set is large, not medium though. However without the wind deflector particularly, and also without the garment bag, judging from your photo, I think the extra large would fit - decisions decisions.....

When we moved from the DB9V to the V12VR it was clear that the Roadster has the bigger boot.. We don't bother with garment carriers as just have suit carriers on the hooks behind the seats. Strange to think that the smaller car can carry more luggage even including the rear seats in the 9.

The set recommended to me at the time for DBS included the medium instead of large hold-all so that the entire set would fit in the boot. I suspect that if I had the large hold-all instead of the medium I wouldn't be able to get the garment bag in as well as.

This was very surprising to me too.. The Vantage Coupe we know is a hatchback and takes more than the DB9/S, but I actually thought that the Vantage Roadster would have the smaller boot compared to the DB9/S Volante. Unexpected bonus for us thumbup

ah, that makes sense now

I find the boot of the roadster surprisingly roomy if you plan well and as you mention in a previous post, there is actually good room on top of the luggage to put jackets and other small items ...........such as coffee machines :-)

The standard 4 piece recommended (for Vantage roadster) set of large, small, garment bag and beauty case definitely fits comfortably. IN the pic, it looks a little more squashed than normal as I've got a black bag squeezed in on the right of the beauty case - without it, there would be more space. The garment bag from memory is sat below the holdall in the middle but if I'm wrong, that's certainly where I normally put it

I'm toying with ordering the 4 pc set and ordering an XL holdall, so that when I'm travelling on my own, I can use the XL one with perhaps one of the smaller bags - I find the large holdall is just not that large. But I don't think the XL one would fit in the context of a 4 piece set
