V12 vantage official

It looks like customer deliveries are gathering pace. I’ve seen four posts on Instagram and Facebook over the last two days of U.K. customers taking delivery. Some of the colour schemes chosen have been rather bold but there’s no doubt that the cars are striking to say the least. I am not too proud to admit that my initial cynicism towards this car is starting to fade away. Well done AM and congratulations to the lucky owners.
ETA…..well well well, that didn’t take too long.

V12 turbocharged, not manual either, this is a better buy imo if you can get over the mess of that dash.

Agree the price is quite high, and how in the world does it weigh more than the DBSS??
The DBSS with the OHMSS grill looks amazing, maybe this could be done aftermarket as AM don't offer the DBS with that vaned grill.
Front end on the new V12V does look nice. I think it'd look even better if it was offered as a more standard V12V that was a little toned on the styling front but retain the grill.

Fwiw every one I’ve seen so far has had the rear wing fitted even though we know it was a delete option if required. It is rather large, but I guess it suits the character of the car. None of them have gone for the carbon bonnet and have stuck with body colour for that part. I don’t know if the car pictured is the one for sale in the link I posted, but I strongly suspect it isn’t. When the vendor uploads some pictures, perhaps we will know more. I do wonder how AM feel about a limited run car, registered only two weeks ago, being offered for sale at a premium of roughly 20%. AP was always very conscious of “flippers” and spoke out against the practice before he departed. But without any controls in place it’s very hard to stop it as we have discussed on here before. It will be interesting to see if the demand is there at that price. Best Regards

There are many reason the new V12V doesn't stack up, but external looks are not one of them! It is a stunning car, and I just wish the team at Gaydon had made the original V8 Vantage look as good a few years ago.
The wing is a no brainer. Its easy to critique when you aren't the guy spending £300k+ on a car, but if you were I doubt many would have the balls to actually spec the wing delete unless money really was no object and they genuinely preferred it themselves. It is part of what defines the car as special, so I really am not surprised to see actual owners going with it. I am however surprised to hear that less people are going for the CF horseshoe. I would have gone with that option myself, but I do understand that its one of the more expensive options and one has to draw the line somewhere even on such a car.
They sure look great, and huge congrats to all who had the ability to place an order for one!
