So what have you done with your Aston today?
Discussion
Had a little 1k mile road trip to Spa in Belgium.
I bought my V12V back in February this year, I traded my V8 against it which I was never convinced by. Since buying it I'd only managed a couple of small drives in less than ideal weather. So this was the first time I've managed a worthwhile drive.
WOW! the car is stunning, it just got better and better, I've fallen head over heels in love with the car, it's the best all round car I've ever had, every comment was positive which made a nice change to the hand gestures the Ferrari's attracted ....can't wait for the next trip

Yesterday afternoon, and all evening! Washed, clayed, machine polished, autoglym super resin polish, autoglym extra gloss protection, and a coat of wax for good measure. Shiny
That's brave!Looks superb.
Wouldn't mind trying a bit of machine polishing myself.
Detailer's will tell you it's a dark art - is it really that difficult?
(go to the beginning of his video clips he has put up)
Watch this guy. In the Detailing forums its him who everyone says to watch if you want to start out. His method of teaching is good as he takes his time and explains everything. As has been mentioned keep away from Orbital and go DA. Especially on well known "poor paint" cars.

Sweet.
Much improved over Pirelli?
PSS? or PSS2?
Pilot Supersports, vastly better than the Pirelli. Quieter, grippier but a little more compliant. I wanted them to last a bit longer than Cups and Corsa's Much improved over Pirelli?
PSS? or PSS2?

Briliant bit of kit isn't it.
Literally takes minutes. Enjoy the noise!
Indeed it is. Very easy to install. And the noise of the V12 is just brilliant. Literally takes minutes. Enjoy the noise!
I had some issues with the central door locking not working right after the installation. But after a short drive everything is working again. I don't think that it is related to the fuse kit installation though.
Just home after a fabulous couple of days with friends!!!!
Thursday saw us going to McLaren to have tours around the technology centre and production centre - now that was truly amazing and very different from Gaydon. Very privileged to have got in and even more so to have to key McLaren designers join us in the evening to talk about what they do and even brought a 650S along with them for us to have a look at. Have to say it was very nice and also had the chance to have a look at the 570 as well. I think I actually like that one better. The design is better resolved and can't wait to see it in Spider form
Then today we went for a tour of the Brooklands Museum and had a picture of our cars on the banking. Can show pictures of that
What an experience
