And apparently hoping someone will drop over $470,000 on it!! https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale...
Interesting photo. Looks like a 2 door DBX. Edited by BenAstonV12 on Monday 31st October 06:22

Yeah, you're right about the rear lights. So odd that someone wants a completely 'blacked out' spec, going for the whole stealth matt black look, black on black ... and then doesn't spec the smoked out rear lights...?! Very strange, but each to their own.
Not really, it has red callipers so the rear lights tie in with those. There are the red repeaters around the rear too that can’t be changed, plus the red interior. So it’s a black and red theme, not ‘murdered out’. This will be interesting, first one at auction in the world? https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2022-aston-mar... I wonder if it will go over MSRP/list price.
Spotted this V12V for sale at a used car dealer in North Wales. Left out on the forecourt in all weathers. Would love to know how it ended up there rather than through the dealer network.....

Probably ordered by the owner of the dealership. Same happened recently with a Maserati MC20 that popped up as one of the first for sale, at some crappy solo dealership which had nothing more exciting than a ‘63 Merc AMG. https://www.junctionautopark.co.uk/used-cars/aston...
Such a shame the new V12V hasn’t been so well received and is so overpriced. Despite the usual marketing guff, it rather looks like it will leave quietly after all.
It’s sad because AM’s very own twin turbo 5.2 V12 is an absolutely stonking engine, very worthy successor of the old n/a lump and it works very well in both DB11 and DBS - traction and tyres being the only reason the DBS isn’t quicker to 60 than the heavyweight 4WD DBX.
A more fitting send off would have been a boosted 750hp+ V12 twin turbo lump shoehorned into the Vantage chassis with the DBX’s 4WD system.
Now that might have been worth all that money

One for sale now at Romans - https://www.romansinternational.com/used-vehicle-d...
Nicest one I've seen for sale so far... Lovely combo, and full fat CF roof, bonnet, aero too!
That can't be far at all off the original list price for it actually.

No aero on the car, shame as it definitely looks better with the wing IMHO.Nicest one I've seen for sale so far... Lovely combo, and full fat CF roof, bonnet, aero too!

Absolutely yes.... I dunno what i was seeing earlier, but totally misled myself that it had aero! love the colour, but no areo = financial suicide, clearly! It's a no cost option to delete it sir......
until you come to sell it!

Just like the GT3 Touring
Well yes, but no... by the time you have taken 20K out for Romans of the above car, the flipper-buyer is almost certainly running at a loss.... Show me a GT3 touring where the buyer made a loss flipping it after just 20 miles?
Time will tell if thats aero delete, or the just whole car that turned out to be a "flipping nightmare"...

I suspect your final paragraph will be on point, it’s an Aston after all.Show me a GT3 touring where the buyer made a loss flipping it after just 20 miles?

Flippers have no chance whilst you can buy new at list .
But surely they were all sold out long ago…. And the roadsters too!Or do you know otherwise?
I havnt enquired since I turned the allocation down, so I have no idea if you could still get a car, but it would all be very Aston if that was in fact the situation!

Tbh I don’t actually know if new cars are still available to order but some of the prices being asked for “used” and potentially flipped examples are somewhat optimistic imho. Especially at this time of year, and amid the current economic climate. I guess the car listed at CC will show where values really are. Personally I’d be surprised if it sells for more than the original list price. We shall see.

AM used to moan a fair bit in the AP days about cars being flipped. But surely they must know who the original purchaser is for each one of these cars from the uniquely numbered plaque, as they are all numbered individually?

That might be the 'official line', but of course every purchase just counts as one more sale to AML.
With this particular limited edition they were quite bold with the list price, so probably take the view, that if a flipper can squeeze a profit out of this, then good luck to them.
I don't know about individual numbering.
The final few VH Vantage limited editions, all had plaques stating '1 of xxx'.
Perhaps they were fed up with half the buyers all wanting 007 of xxx. -
