Don't worry guys I invest in property in the North East and have been to some of the worst of your st holes. I have also owned property in Sunderland, specifically the end of Hylton Road, closest to the city centre and the University so I know deprivation.

You can't frighten me with you urban decay and squalor, I've spent an afternoon in Middlesborough (to watch Chelsea at the Riverside).
Ha, so you're an absent landlord! smile

No problem as long as those tax receipts you all earn down there keep flowing North so we can enjoy the life we've become accustomed too - it's hard work dragging those settees into the garden to spend the day drinking in you know! whistle

Just a word of warning , especially for our soft southern shandy drinking types coming up north.

The Sunderland air show takes place the same day , the A19 heading north will be busier than normal , you may want to allow extra time.

Just out of Sinbin .....Hooray (Get the hang of this eventually LOL).
Looking like 25 cars in total, if everyone shows up. Ordered 50 sandwiches and 50 packed lunches so we are prepared, looking forward to seeing everyone with their cars.

Paul.

No 7 - I'm down to a maybe. Wrestling with a kitchen installation and encountering obstacles, latest is just snapped the stopcock to the incoming mains so no water in the house. Family will not be pleased if they have to flush with a bucket for the weekend.......

Pleased to say that this particular soft southern shandy drinking type is now sat on the outlaw's sofa in County Durham. See you all in the morning. I'm off for a Campari and Soda.

Thanks for the great day James and The Aston Martin Newcastle guys, especially Paul for organising a great day.

The day got even better when my name came out of the hat for the case of champagne and my luck was definitely in when Tina, my better half volunteered to collect the prize for me.

Many thanks to James and Paul for organising the drive and providing the sustenance and entrance to the castle, really appreciated!

Great day out despite the weathers attempts at dampening things down, the convoy certainly attracted some stares as we passed through the various villages.

We'll say nothing about nearly getting lost in Alnmouth whistle Or was that just me scratchchin

yes, a BIG thank you to James, Paul (Aston Martin Newcastle) and Bamburgh Castle. Another great turn out and day, next time I don't think I will bother washing my car :-)

Bring on the next meet
