One member on AMOC has been an a****** (selfsensored) - so i called him an a****** (selfsensored) just like he deserved it smile and i didn't want - on moderators demand - apologise - thats all smokin
So let me get this straight, you could have apologised and been seen as the bigger man but you chose not to so you'd come across as a t**t?

Wtf are you on about - i just said what i was was thinking and i stand to it.... rolleyes

And if you really want to know what i think about AMOC = a lots of selffished old men over there and to them every Aston Martin produced after 1945 is the *evil* !

So IMHO f*** censored this....

And if you - honey - is happy over there - that's fine with me ... each to their own ....

PS: Sorry for my bad spelling i got an excuse i am *Kraut* rolleyes

btw can we go now back to topic - i like the idea of a DB9 *Turbo Look* alias *DBS Look* cool

Oh, b*llsh*t. I'm not an old man, so f*ck off with that. I know that *ssh*le you're referring to and my opinion is you were way off base. Very decent chap with a better sense of humour than you're displaying. You should have apologised and brought back some of that old Richthofen chivalry instead of being a stiff old Kraut.

Can I politely suggest a "time-out" on this one, please? It distresses me to see such base language on an Aston Martin discussion forum. Desist, please, and show a modicum of decorum. Thank you, gentlemen.

that just doesn`t make any sense to me.it`s like owning an e class merc and fancying the upgrade look of an s class so trying to morph the look of your current car.why try to make it appear "more"than it actually is??bottom line is you want people to think you are a bigger player than you actually are. this will probably open up another can of worms but i don`t see the point of private plates.yes everyone can say it`s got special meaning etc. and there are people from this school but the vast majority of people do it to hide the age of their car
Her indoors has a private plate on her XK, she would sell her car before she would sell her plate and it has nothing to don with hiding the age. She just thinks it looks good on the car and it makes it hers and no one else's. Not a fan myself and do not have a plate on mine, thats not to say though that if the right plate came up I would not buy it.

Not keen on the bunny bit though, bit yesterday and she now wants it changed to Betty Boop

Would not do this to my nice shinny DB9 though, would kill me to think of someone chopping up my beautiful car and drilling holes and fitting bits. I would never feel comfortable with it. Aston Martin went to great expense and trouble perfecting the DB9 to be a DB9, they also went through the same routine with the DBS. Just seems wrong trying to feck with that.

Not an owner unfortunately! I just haven't seen a green DBS yet and I think it would look wrong without DB9 lights.

i think it`s personal choice mate, definately more for the lasses.my wife was going giddy to spend 15grand on a plate that spelt my daughter`s name.thank god we never got it! also i would feel a bit of a prick driving round in her x5 with a girl`s name plastered on the front.
my other pet hate is 007 related plates on an aston.that is just a little bit naughty
