I've barely had it on the roads at all since it arrived. It's been at a body shop getting some work done and I only got it back a couple days ago. I still haven't even registered the car! That said, it stands out sooo much more than my grey one. The color has really grown on me, too. One of my best friends has a Toro Red one, and I adore that color. The Rosso Corsa on mine is just so bright, it's hard to get a good idea of it in pictures, but it's awesome in person. Really just pops, and very different than the usual Aston metallic paint.

I was driving it back from the body shop the other day and caught a glimpse of the red paint from the door mirror cover, and it reminded me that I was driving a bright red Aston. It's an odd thing to say but, if you think about it, once we're in our cars, we don't really think about the color of the paint. That sudden reminder than I was in such a vividly-colored Aston put a smile on my face!

My friends all comment on how red it is, but I've barely driven it at all so I haven't noticed any reactions from people I don't know yet.

Its almost like my Fire Red. Like yours its hard to photo right and can appear washed out. Not many UK cars, in fact I think its single figures and the colour appeared towards the end of 4.3 and introduction of 4.7 models. Aston used the colour for some launch work of the 4.7 in LHD.
One thing I have found with mine is if you allow it to get "dirty" its almost like the shine fades but when clean it certainly stands out.

Car featured in Autocar at launch.

AM promotional shots, same car as above.

Mine.

Saw this Vanquish parked up while filling up earlier. Not quite sure of the thinking behind a half felt(?) wrap..

Removed the a/c condenser in preparation for the new one being delivered this week. Found some nature sandwiched between it and the radiator.
