Edited to say: Why does it turn the photo!!
Apparently its an apple thing, once you edit the photo a little, eg crop it a bit, it will display ok!

Perhaps I'm due a parrot but aren't those aftermarket? My DB9 of that era had knobs that match the radio ones
Partly correct, the very early models 04 and 05 examples had plastic heater controls similar to the stereo knobs.

The 2006 onwards models came equipped with aluminium ones

The aftermarket ones are not able to illuminate the position dot.

Only half a job as I didn't remove them from the car, but pretty much reached all the corrosion... the aluminium blocks that house the sensors just disintegrate into powder (same with the wing mirror stalks..), scraped the major corrosion off with a semi blunt instrument (old screwdriver), and a sharp blade to get under the still semi attached original coating.... then used a combination of electric mouse (B&D bit of kit that sands into corners), and rubbing down by hand, then paint wipes... they completely clean the surface to paint prep stage.... The grille got wire brushed and cleaned (serious amount of masking beforehand) and the prepped alloy sensor blocks got 3 coats (15 mins between each) of etch primer.... used vaseline over the sensor faces so the paint didn't stick, Once the etch primer was properly dry everything got three coats of black crinckle hammerite.... great finish and kills the rust its sprayed on to.... bit of a faf getting the diffuser wing back on, but nothing major... I'm really pleased with the end result, doesn't in any way look like a bodge and should last for a good while..... Rear end now looks as good as the front end thumbup

Have a close look at the Cambridge meet up smile

Perfect weather this morning for a quick blast around West Yorks, ending up with breakfast at Redline Specialist Cars to browse their rather tasty stock, including a GT8. smile

Air box deletes some maintenance on my red Vantage project car, and some routine service and battery replacement on a local DB9 wink

Some are. We made these for our old DB9 and V8V some time ago. They had a palladium plated body and a laser etched sapphire crystal glass inset.
Very pretty when illuminated.

It's about to go under the knife for a few things. Just did air box deletes, oil catch can, and coilovers. Using the wheels I had on my grey car previously until my new set of wheels are made. Ordering high-flow cats, muffler, and a tune, should be here in a couple weeks. But the front lip got bashed in by some road debris so it's going to be in the body shop the next few weeks frown
