I'm told 'poverty spec' cars will be at a level of trim lower than we have come to expect ...

Do you mean leather effect ?

No, a brown vinyl interior would never do.

Could the 'poverty spec' be just a manual, full alcantara interior and steel brakes? or is it more (less) than that?

That'll probably be the "lightweight " spec which will cost 20k if they follow the Porsche approach

We have great fun guessing various aspects, even though many of us have little knowledge about the car.
Those 'in the know', are quite properly keeping quiet.

I now have my dealer viewing date to see the new car 'in the flesh', but by then, will have already seen the launch day information.

I'm told Nottingham isn't getting the car until the new year grumpy

Lloyd hinted that may be the date but said it would be dependent on how many cars were available to dealers smile

New footage of the GTE car, looks menacing. Also a better look at the taillights.

Seen it today - wow, exceeded my expectations, and I had a really great morning at Gaydon including an impromptu mini factory tour.

I really can't see many people not liking the new Vantage, it was very very nice indeed.

Can't say any more really, other than well done AM, I think they have got it just right. smile

But is it disappointingly expensive? If a well equipped car is about 150k it is up against very stiff competition.

However if it drives as well as we all hope it will be a very serious rival for said competition.

When i went to the reveal there was no mention of prices etc laugh If it is anywhere near that price it can only bode well for us with the outgoing Vantage. It will make my 2013 Vantage V8S look like a massive bargain!
