Put a crack in the front carbon splitter
Oh no! Always go in backwards ......There are people that do amazing repairs these days. Don't go to your dealer as they will just say you need a new one. Someone will be along with a recommendation I imagine but here's an example I just found on the net (never used them, just an example): http://carbonfibrerepair.com
A huge thanks to Pete, the organiser of AMOC's area 5 section for a fantastic drive out on Sunday around some of the best bits of South-East Wales and the Marches (Ludlow and Leominster). Pete's well-chosen route was:
About 15 cars met for breakfast on the A49's Ludlow kitchen. No surprise is that it was mainly V8 Vantages, but it was nicely complimented by a couple of DBS', a fine i6 DB7 Volante and a very stunning factory fresh V12VMS which parked up next to mine and kind of shaded it somewhat:
The traffic was typical for a Sunday around the area but it was good progress to lunch which was served at Caer Beris Manor Hotel (Builth Wells, LD2 3NP and very highly recommended). We lined up to get in whilst the hotel staff took some snaps of a great looking traffic jam on their doorstep:
They nicely kept the car park in front of the hotel reserved for us all (just!):
The Jag was more than welcome and a nice car in the mix being a brand new special edition 400. As I was behind it in convoy for a good few miles, it was not a bad sight.
After the delicious Sunday roast, the convoy was a little more split up. All the way to the hotel I had the enviable sight of the gorgeous V12VMS in my mirror and we formed a mini convoy of two from the hotel to Rhayader and beyond. By far this was the best bit of driving as we found ourselves on a great road without any other traffic so could make good headway. Naturally, the lipsticked nose of the V12 never shrank, but the fantastic noise and handling of my de-cat'd V8V didn't make me feel too bad!
Great to meet fellow AM'ers from all over the Midlands - always such a friendly bunch, which is one of the reasons I decided to join the AM clan

MOT Day....
Took it to Fisher Performance near Kidderminster and had two Michilin PS4S on the back to match the fronts and also the MOT
The car passed with flying colours and I had a health check done by their master tech, who pointed out a few bits I knew of and am going to do and a couple I wasn't aware of and are easy fixes.
I have to say the service and professionalism of these guys is 2nd to none. Really friendly, entirely open and truly helpful, brilliant
As for the Michilin PS4S, as others have said, they really are much gripper, definitely quieter and a little more comfortable
All in all a good day
