Well... I had the intention of taking mine to Brooklands Breakfast this morning,

However, this offer came up...

I'm still grinning ear to ear.

Changed the auto box oil on my Db9. It's done 45000 miles and we were amazed how clean the oil looked.

Very politely asked.

No heating... So given the weather, damp roads - it was a very gentle run up to Brooklands. Gloves are required as it just pumps in cold air. Only once the engine starts to warm and you come to a stop does it get a bit warmer.

Way home was a bit drier with the sun out, amazing experience and I'm incredibly grateful to Andy!

Delivered mine to Bamford Rose for some “re-engineering”, hoping she’ll come back a new woman.

Got up at stupid o' clock and spent 8 hours and 340+ miles giving North Wales what for.

The car was immense.

Had my kerbed alloy repaired and four new Michelin PS4S tyres fitted. The old Bridgestones actually had a fair bit of tread left on them, but they were so old it was like driving on cart wheels and they didn't feel safe on anything except the smoothest of roads. First impressions are very positive, lots of grip and none of the crashing about over potholes that I was getting from the Bridgestones.

After a lovely weekend away at Goodwood, drove to work this morning, parked outside my office window, and as I sat down to eat my breakfast, saw a security firm vehicle reverse straight into the driver's door (he was parked a few bays over, parked longitudinally across the bays). No idea why he decided to reverse that far (over a car length), at that speed (rocked the car and set off the alarm). He saw me park-up a few minutes earlier.

The CCTV footage from the building is like something you'd see on FailArmy. A great start to the week...

He didn't have anywhere to go as he was blocked in by another car from the security firm (he'd just been jump started by the other one). He saw me in the window and stood there while I walked out. The other car had reversed out and blocked the car park exit, but had he waited for his chum to leave, he could have just driven straight out, I'm baffled as to why he felt the need to reverse over a car length backwards.

I have all their details and their insurers are meant to be in touch - just another bit of grief I didn't need at the moment really.
