Washed mine and put it away for the winter by the looks of the weather and seeing the gritting truck out and about 🙁

Not that any one cares, as there is a new Vantage to discuss... but I had this carbon N420 diffuser stuck on my 4.3 today. I decided I probably wanted one of these since shortly after I bought the car, and along with the carbon strakes and mirror caps, and general de-chroming I`ve done, me likey!

The first photo is Hyde Park in central Sydney. Each car club was provided with a separate departure location. The next two pics are at the racetrack itself Sydney Motorsport Park (formerly known as Eastern Creek)

Edited to add: the third photo is a bunch of Astons behind a Volvo pace car. Laps later in the day got faster smile

Thought it looked like Eastern Creek, but wasn't sure, I didn't know they had changed the name.

You should change your occupation to "good photographer". Great shots as always.

Collected my 4.3 from Bamford Rose. New dual plate clutch, throttle remap, switchable Bilstein shocks and a MKII steering rack. It now drives like it should have out of the factory. Delicate direct steering, responsive accelerator and faster engine spool up and down, lighter clutch with a friendly bite point, compliant ride that does not jolt the cabin and shake your fillings out over cats eyes and country road bumps, BLISS.

Interessting, I thought of going a similar path with my 4.3.
Could you elaborate on how the switchable Bilstein dampers work/feel?
I suppose they have a soft setting - how does that compare to a post 09 standard bilstein damper?

Looking beautiful as ever Rich. Do you still have to MOT her - thought they did away with that for very classic cars?

Thanks Ken. Regards the MOT, no, but I like to have it done because for £45 it provides a continuous paper trace of mileage for future owners. I have the MOTs going back 40 years to 1976 so it seems a good idea to keep it up.

They have Comfort, Auto (programmable) and Sport/Track, switchable by an app. BR set mine up on Auto and saved the profile, that suits me well so I doubt I’ll need to switch to other settings. Best give BR Mike a ring.

Fitted new carbon fibre tread plates and new sill plaques too. Thanks to Tony for the sill plaques. They have no screw holes and look great! Also, considerably cheaper than the price AM quoted me. Having some trouble uploading pictures but will do so as soon as I can.

Best Regards

Minglar

Thankyou

Previous owner raced classic F1 cars.... It's an amazing space. Just need to get it tidied up.
