A GT8 has just been delivered in the Stirling green halo scheme and it seems like, having just seen an instagram post, it has been sent straight to The Octane Collection in Guildford!! I presume it will be going up for sale but there are no details on their website just yet
That news pisses me off.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...
Sad that these types can't just keep to Porsches.

Seems after 79 miles the owner has decided they don't like it and has stuck it up with Octane at £300k...

A manual gt8 advertised as a sportshift gt12?http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2016...

It's still disappointing. The cynic in me says the car looks like it was specced from day 1 to be flipped - nice external appearance with the halo paint scheme but absolutely nothing else spent on it; everything standard inside including the hi-fi, the sills etc
Does it even have the titanium exhaust?

I really wish they would.
Would be nice to think they get blacklisted from purchasing future editionsI know that Ferrari claim to do this but I've never heard the same of AML.
Maybe they should start?

I thought quite the same. No effort with stitching, glass buttons, carbon fibre extras or 'big ticket' items like the CF roof or centre locks. It would have been purchased for comfortably under £200k. At least enjoy the thing for a year!Does it even have the titanium exhaust?

Quite - the advert includes the suggestions of a GT8 sill with gearbox ( I missed that option when speccing mine ) plus the real reasons for the purchase being that must have of a 12v power socket.

It is actually around £200k:168 incl OTR charges
10k aero
~12k halo pack
~4k rear CF tailgate + front grille
~3.5k
0.5k alcantara seat inners
basically almost £200k ex Titanium exhaust, which I am not sure it has given the exhaust pipes look "chromed" so.
I have seen pictures of already 2 of them with this halo pack delivered to customers, so it is likely to be one of the most "common" specc'd car.
It seems to talk about a mixed titanium/stainless steel exhaust system, so guessing they saved money there
I'm hoping that Aston Martin clamp down on this, would have been nice to have seen the cars all end up in the hands of enthusiasts rather than someone who had no intention of driving it. But I fear I'm hopelessly naive in that, suspect AML don't really care as long as the cars get sold
