I have a friend who says he willing to come along for the day to take some shots and some drone footage, he is a professional photographer... But bare in mind he may change his plans if he has a shoot booked..
In the beginning when it was looking like we would have 45 cars the costs were broken down as follows....
Circuit hire total including, 2 ARDS instructors, track venue insurance and VAT £10,500.00
Photographer £20-00 each £900-00
Total £11,400.00 divided by 45 = £254-00 each
Then the numbers started to drop, so the game changes to rescue the day, the circuit hire which is the most important thing at the £10,500.00 split between 30 comes in at £350-00
If we have late entries just means I have to recalculate a little and like I said ether refund any over payments or beg for a little more from those who have already paid....
As it turns out this hasn't all fallen into place as easy as I thought it would.. LOL But I set out to organise the day and will do anything I can to make the day happen.
At present we have 25 cars confirmed with 4 still to send money over, even at 25 cars the day would work out at £420-00 each so nearer the end of the month if all that have paid are still wanting to go ahead we all cough up an extra £120-00 each.. and all 25 of us have an awesome day...
I will leave it with the gods to decide the fate of the day

I regret I'm unable to join you and bring MO55IE along (engine now in re-build until May) but know those that do attend, will enjoy an unforgettable experience.

That's the spirit..... I too would be more than happy to go up to £420-00Can I just say I’ll gladly pay more to make sure the day goes ahead.
I’m certainly not loaded, but having paid the £300 a week or two ago. Another £120’ish really won’t hurt too much.
I’ve booked into the Rockingham Hilton for the night before.
See you all in the bar!
How do we all feel about the extra amount? If we are all ok to go up then we can get the deposit paid at least, then the more that join the less we pay.

A lot of excitement on the Sunday, will be very tired so cant be bothered to drive home straight after.. much better to go to the bar and have a few drinks instead. So I have now just gone through the whole thread to locate the names on the list who haven't responded... I have emailed them all in a bid to grab attention...
At present we have 26 cars for one reason or another I am still waiting for actual payment from 3 of them.... Assuming I get those 3 payments the breakdown cost will be £404-00 each. STILL A MASSIVE BARGAIN.. Astons only, Rockingham to ourselves "ON A SUNDAY"... Doesn't get much better.
This amount will be not including the photographer....
5 days to go before the cut off point to get the deposit over to Rockingham.....

Especially as you mentioned the chairperson elect Mr Tim Butcher and that maybe there was a chance of getting some older cars into the mix which would clearly help fill a few more spaces and help reduce the costs.
I'd be a very interested spectator as I live just 35 minutes down the road from the venue if allowed of course, especially if some of the older models were strutting their stuff alongside the modern cars……...

Especially as you mentioned the chairperson elect Mr Tim Butcher and that maybe there was a chance of getting some older cars into the mix which would clearly help fill a few more spaces and help reduce the costs.
I'd be a very interested spectator as I live just 35 minutes down the road from the venue if allowed of course, especially if some of the older models were strutting their stuff alongside the modern cars……...
Thank you and sorry I didn't respond... Wasn't being rude. Just juggling this with an exceptionally busy work schedule... I have spoken to Anne at the AMOC who said she was going to post it on the AMOC website/forum, but I haven't contacted the local dealership as you suggested.. I know Know Weybridge have been messaging existing customers but as yet nothing from ether of those 2 avenues.
Definitely come along to watch........ Every one will be welcome....

Thanks for your reply,I more than most know of the frustrations of trying to put an event together so I do hope everything comes together for you and
I wish you well rounding up the few cats that are still eluding you.
I also hope that the AMOC pull their finger out and actually prove to be helpful regarding your event especially in knowing that you have spoken with Anne who has great knowledge and contacts to assist with this type of venture as it would be really great to have some old stuff giving it large.
However I would tell you not to hold your breathe regarding their support,I got tangled up with both the said Chairperson's elect regarding my last big event and wished I hadn't bothered with them in the first place……..but hey ho you live and learn as they say.
John McGurk is still a very good contact still should you struggle to fill those few empty spaces should you choose to go for your preferred numbers to hit
your target price structure.
All the very best and well done for putting yourself out for the enjoyment of others……...
I'm certainly going to try and get my card stamped for a day out watching all the antics at Rockingham.

I have just emailed John Mcgurk..... Thanks for that.... You know what its a shame if AMOC didn't help or get involved, as I know that Tim is running for the new position he is wanting to do more of this type of thing for members.. He was going to partner up with me organising this one but as other things came up he was just too busy at that time...

Right then Gentlemen.....
Today is the cut off for the deposit for Rockingham, we have 27 cars which at present equates to £389-00 each.
We have all paid £300-00 each so far (with the exception of 2 who have confirmed but not yet paid) so at worst we will need to dig deep into our pockets for an extra £89-00 which I'm sure we can all do...
I will keep entries open until 31/03/18 so if more want to join then they can, which will help lower the cost for everyone.
By this date (31/03/18) any outstanding monies MUST be paid to me in advance as I don't want envelopes on the day... Also anyone who does not pay the extra wont be allowed out on the track and will be asked to leave.
Fingers crossed some more people join us for the day.
