Sadly had to sell one of my Harleys 04 Fat boy special, but will keep my old Evo Road King. Love that bike and have had it 10yrs now. Like you, i used to have the quickest bikes on the road back in the 70's.80's. Kwack Z1B 900,500 Triple, Goldwing, 900 Honda,RD400, RG500, BM 100RS plus many more, but i just like plodding about on the Harley these days, unless i feel like scaring myself then i go for a tear up in my Cerbera. Got a DB7 VV manual for when i feel groun up.
Cool, We have a few sites that could use you and your birds... As for harleys, my dad is a fanatic, he has a heritage soft tail springer and the Jack danials old show bike, springer also.... nicest looking harley i ever seen..... And I had a buell a while ago XB9 Lightening.... A very nice bike, stage 2, was far better handling than any of my previous jap bikes...
I may return to 2 wheels again at some point.... Maybe if the ol man will sell his JD bike??? would keep that forever.....

The standard wheels are now anthrecite, grill and all mesh vents powder coated black, some trick filling to make smoother lines... badge mount plates inside doors now same colour as car, no rear reflectors. Now for de chroming, suspension and new wheels.....
Windscreen broke when removing it so new screen as well.... I am more excited now than when I 1st bought it... Sad what happened but when it comes back gonna be like a new car, have got the interior being fully renovated by a leather specialist... Cant wait...

Every sympathy - I can recommend a car cover - bit of a hassle but if you pop it on every night it'll do a better job than CCTV - a real passion killer for these nutters
I bought a car cover once, got nicked the first night I used it. Even covered by public CCTV, but police wouldn't review the tapes (or let me review them).Sorry to hear about your car. Looking at your profile and car pic, awesome colour and looking car
(nice plate too)... Did you report it to plod?..any feedback? (in vain I know). Lets hope the insurer and assocated body shop get it ship shape..... I too have had this happen to me, even with 2 covers on (covers themselves can cause problems with scratching etc). Moving to new house in new year with garage, so hopefully no more problems... Good Luck.

Car back from paint shop yesterday.....
Had to pop over to VM's where the car is having the final transformations carried out to have a look....
Full interior detail, suspension, wheels & dechroming etc...
Should be finished on Friday evening so will be trigger happy with the camera.
Sneak preview
Its like a brand new car...

Looks fantastic Burntout - tempting just to leave the plate off, eh ?
Having inspected the front of Mr Q's and Mr K's cars, I can affirm how much smaller that metal horizontal piece is between your two front grilles than it is on a DB9 - by a good inch or so.
Probably why the smaller reg plates look so much better on the Vantage than on the 9er

With a bit of luck it will all be complete by the end of the day... So hoping some indoor shots of it later.... Fingers crossed...
I am very keen on seeing what the window surrounds look like after being dechromed. I assume that they have just wrapped the chrome in a matt black coating?

John they are going to wrapp the chrome in a matt vynal, going to do the same with the side strakes as well & just for good measure, matt black hubs and break calipers to match the wheels..... Also had the mesh bommet grills, side mesh grills and the front grill painted satin black....I am very keen on seeing what the window surrounds look like after being dechromed. A nice contrast with the Meteorite silver..... Oh and not forgetting the rear reflectors from the bumper removed, filled and painted...
Front grill..
