I choose the V12V over the DBS due to the more sportier appearance and the more "tight" handling due to the shorter wheelbase. Also the V12V has shorter overhangs which help avoiding most sleeping policemen in London driving. Finally the rear hatch of the V12V makes it more practical as it has a larger luggage compartment as a result (given that you never use the rear seats in the DBS anyway(.
I find that I have even greater trouble with speed bumps in the V12v than in my sports pack DB9. There are roads in Islington that I simply cannot negotiate as the car grounds out on bumps even at 3 mph. There are plenty around Hampstead that I have to take absurdly slowly. Highgate's speed bumps are less mountainous.

How about moving? Sounds like you live in a car unfriendly place

Yup, going down St Peter's Street, just off Essex Road caused many problems in the past - I think they may have removed them now smile

I think my advice would be to hold your horses for a while. Having received assurances from Dr. Bez that we can soon expect a DBS replacement plus a V12V convertible you can be sure of reduced residuals on existing models as part exchanges appear.

Yo, Rob !!

Since when has buying an Aston ever been a rational decision ??

Other than that, your viewpoint makes perfect sense smile
