i think a few people on here have got a little fixated on the discount aspect here.
They do im sure get many time wasters.
If it helps any.. a may be on the brink of a deal. EEK

It also gets interesting with finance - in most walks of life, cash is king but with cars, sometimes the profit is in the finance commission

We all like the lowest price, but when buying an Aston Martin, perhaps it is best to buy the car that you really want, particularly if it might be a 'keeper'.I was in a funny situation when making my purchase. I wanted a specific colour, and had been looking on the 'pre-owned list' for more than a year. When eventually one appeared for sale, I would then have been quite happy to pay the asking price.
However, a couple of days after it was first shown on the 'pre-owned list', the advertised price was dropped by 3%. When meeting the dealer, I 'forgot' to mention that I knew it was a rare colour, and without a PX, another 3% was taken off.
There is more to a deal than the dealer's price.
Servicing, merchandise, freebies such as Millbrook or taster days can all be used by either party.
Wilmslow will price aggressively and from my experience and I would be happy to purchase another Aston from there. It's a no nonense approach and I appreciate that.
Each to their own and good luck with your deal.

To the sales guy on the phone....." Can I come and have a look at the TVR's"
Certainly which one are you interested in
"Any of them except the yellow..... Wouldn't have a yellow car given me"
And he's the one he bought
