BMW X5 for occasions where I have to park within 20 feet of another car......drives the wife mad but totally paranoid of parking dents, and for when the sun shines a 1951 MG YA , nearly gets as many nice glances as the Vantage!

Wow that was bad. I shouldn't go on my computer after drinking paperbag I knew what I wanted to put but my fingers were unwilling to cooperate!

second car is normally shed money, audio 2.8 coupe, mondeo estate, £600 saab 9-5 was the latest, had that for a few years. suooper comfy on the motorway it was. That's all you need for tootling to the shops, carting the dog around or leaving in the staff car park.

(or indeed whenever tradesmen are round the house to quote etc smile )

A family member has just flown BA to Cape Town. Intended to travel Business Class, but that was fully booked.

Therefore bought an Economy ticket. However, at Heathrow was told, "Overbooked,
sorry cannot fly today". Did a Basil with charm, and they did then eventually find a seat in Economy.

Is it normal now in the airline industry to sell more tickets than seats?
Then tell people trying to do business around the world, to clear off
after they have driven for three hours to the airport.
