People, J-P's first post may have been unnecessarily and unintentionally provocative, but he has been conciliatory in his follow-ups. You are Aston Marton owners. Show some decorum!

Haha - now there is a rallying cry! The reality is that they are anonymous internet posters - perhaps most of them don't even own one but are living a fantasy? The guy who commented on where the OP apparently works in the way he did - is a fking massive idiot imho.

In my experience there are retards everywhere in life, owning a certain car is no indicator to be relied on.

I have to agree they are indeed everywhere.

I think you do yourself no favours here. You claim to have read only the first page of the thread and then condemn those who have posted as non-owners and anonymous when nothing could be further from the truth. I wouldn't support the personal insults that you took exception to but you then descend to the same level, why bother ?

I thought this thread had run its course, let's hope this is just a last gasp for air before it finally expires.

My tongue was i my cheek you know!

We all (and I have been as guilty as anyone of this over the years) get het up when people criticise a car we love, particularly when the criticism appears biases, unfounded or exaggerated (or a combination of these). J-P accepted that he might have been hasty and conceded that he should try a newer example. We should leave it there.

recently bought a 06 db9 volante.16 000 miles.perfect car and very good looking but very quirky to live with.also own a 07 bentley gtc, which if you compare the approx list prices is only about 15000 more.for this you get a car which is in a different league(much much better all round).either the bentley is too cheap or the aston is vastly overpriced!!!Harry.

Sorry guys, I thought this was over - Thanks for supporting personal insults against me in my absence, thouroughly decent of you! It's very easy to forget that for many people cars (especially one you've actually bought) are a truly emotive subject. And just for the cheap seats, just in case anybody is still mightily offended - I'M SORRY IF I'VE OFFENDED YOU WITH MY OPINION OF AN ADMITTEDLY POOR EXAMPLE OF THE CAR! - not aimed at you, Zod it was just inconvenient to reply to each post!
