- manifold camel toe modification (massive driving improvements I was told by a racing owner)
Uh, is this the same thing in the UK as it is in the US?Recently found out that "growlers" are different... here it's a large jug used to hold beer. Apparently it's a bit more, um, feisty a thing in the UK.
Hi chaps,
I am a novice in the AM world but while at the showroom a very experienced super owner was telling me of his friends AMV8V and that the manifold design on Astons left a rather restrictive camel toe in its design that does Sap a lot of power through its inefficiency... the remedy is to have it knocked out?? The team/workshop over at Christian Lewis is fully of highly skilled AM technicians and its been added to the prep sheet.
I will give you more detail soon so please bare with me

Jibber... on the thread about mesh grille, really like look of your car I'm going a bit different but do you mind letting me know where you got the front lip from?
Thinking of seeing what just that and the finned rear defuser looks like.
Thanks
The ones i got made only 10 were done that curved and finished on the bumper lineThinking of seeing what just that and the finned rear defuser looks like.
Thanks
You can get similar from Oya Carbon or various other places on line, but they stick out about 2 inches either side and the lay- up of the carbon means it doesnt meet in a nice V pattern in the centre
Oya Carbon one
My one Far better
Got the car back from Center Gravity http://www.centregravity.co.uk/ who have set the car up exactly as I want it. They are simply awesome when it comes to geo.
Not only that, Pete pointed out three minuscule issues with my car that quite frankly I would never have spotted. Absolutely nothing to do with suspension, simply going above and beyond.

Sounds good Nick - how did you bias it?
Me? I created rivers of blood as I dissolved 2000 miles of tar and brake dust! And ohh what a lovely, lovely 2000 miles they were (still smitten)
Now I can move on to spraying the weeds that the driveway paving boys said the membrane I insisted on having underneath would never contain! They were right

Started a trip Off to the Nurburgring to watch the N24 andjoin the AMR celebration. Top down all the way from Devon and staying at Ypres tonight. Watched the Last Post ceremony. Difficult to get your head around so many people dying - some 250,000 died defending the City in WW1 - very poignant.
