Can I replace the rear view mirror?
Discussion
Hi - not wanting to hijack a thread - since it's 4-5 years old I'm guessing no one will mind.
I have recently purchased a Vantage with the 4.7 in it and can't for the life of me figure out what the buttons on the RV mirror do (as the photo in this thread) - are they for garage door/access gate entry, if so how are they programmed? There's nothing I can see in the owners manual.
Thanks!!
Pete

I have since changed to a V8S and had the mirror swapped over by the dealer. The buttons operate a homelink garage door or gate. I have set 2 of mine to operate the remote exhaust fuse 15 bypass as supplied by Clive :-) http://www.cccharger.co.uk/

Great - thanks!
I'm still getting use my new (older) drive - so lots of things that are new and often very different (SS box). I picked the car up in North Atlanta and up in the mountains now in North Carolina. What a great car on these roads - it's the fist car I've driven in years that gives me the same buzz as my Ducati... except with less of a 'if I slip-up I'm dead' feeling. I spend 12 years in the UK and see why this would be a great car on 'B' roads - not a great deal of fun on the Interstates.... other than all the gawking and thumbs up - always nice Will be heading back to Florida in a few days so the flat/straight roads there won't be as much fun, nor the $$$ hungry coppers.
