V8 to V12 Vantage
Discussion
Some absurd and ill informed comments here.
The V12 only weighs 50kg more than the V8, both are over 1600kgs so neither is what I´d call lightweight but these days not too bad for the type of car.
Cornering is the V12V´s forte, it´s the most focused sports car in the range and handles exceptionally well. The corsa tyres are worth a fair amount of corner speed on their own and the carbon brakes are peerless at shedding speed. Towards the limit the car remains beautifully balanced but many here only use the car in ´sport´mode which automatically makes for clumsy throttle applications. 510bhp requires progressive throttle use, especially in the wet. The ´fearsome´ reputation is almost entirely down to that, but I like the aura of menace about the car so I don´t pull people up on it too much

Volume. It's a barge of a car compared to my idea of a 911 (993/964 etc). Parked my 73 next to one the other day....it would have fitted into it's glove box.
Don't have a shot of one against a 991, but look at it against a racing midget...
Fair enough, I mis-interpreted sorry. Your 911 looks stunning btw! Don't have a shot of one against a 991, but look at it against a racing midget...
