Looks good. How do you sign up your car. The link is the general advert.

Sounds like a good idea as with a handful of cars on track then some spirited driving will be possible and as ther is no cost to the driver then it's like a mini free track day( excluding tyres and petrol of course!). I'm a long way from the track but other commitments permitting I may be able to join in.

Well, who wouldn't want to pay for being a passenger in a V12V (or any Aston for that matter). Do the passengers choose the car they want to pax in or is it a queue and they just get in whatever is at the front?

Simon, are you actually organising this event ?

I did send a email to the the address on the link, but didn't receive a reply.
Nope just showing up. Seems like a good cause and a good opportunity so I thought I'd mention it on here.

S
Still never received a reply, so if they cannot be arsed, neither can I.

Hope it's a successful day !!!

Firstly my thanks to Simon for his efforts in supporting and promoting this terrific event over several years now. His profile at Castle Combe in respect of his multiple GT Championship wins has been a big influence in bringing in paying passengers. Thanks to the efforts of drivers like Simon, the event has raised in excess of £150,000 to date.

It looks like a number of you have expressed - or tried to express - interest in taking part via the Stroke Association website and for whatever reasons have not been able to or not had a reply. I've just picked up on this thread and have now, I think, responded by PM to each of you to apologise but if not then please accept this public apology on behalf of the event.

Participation on track is by invitation only and I organise the car list (this is my 7th year with the event) so if you still want to be involved, do please PM me asap please.

Otherwise, you might want to come along and buy a ride with Simon who will put an entirely new perspective on the 'idiosyncratic' Castle Combe circuit for you. We have a further 50 cars to choose from, including Radicals and a variety of Race, Classic and Supercars in case this experience isn't enough for you smile At the opposite end of the spectrum from lapping in an Aston for example, we are able to offer this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PingJA-ucXk
