Got it in one - I visited the factory when I was 15 and saw them being made. Decided I would have my own one day. I knew exactly the spec I wanted.
I know exactly what you mean. I got a tour with my parents when I was about 14. I knew I loved them before that, but that just tipped me over the edge. I think it's partly the absolute love that the workers there obviously have for Aston. It's a fantastic place, and the attention to detail on everything they do is incredible.
I also decided that I'd have one some day. Quite a long way away still, but I've got a few years to work on it.

Imagine my frustration. My dad had a DB4 Vantage (Ser III) Silver Birch with red leather in good but not concours condition. We took it to Le Mans a few times, last time (4 years ago) it got scratched all down the side in a car park near Mulsanne. The bill for repair was £4k+ while it was being done someone saw it and offered him lots of money - so he took the money and bought a house in France. Bang goes my inheritance....
