That's all in
Andy only takes 4 cars max per day and is constantly watching you and giving feedback
His DVD is a great reminder of what he teaches you in the day as well
I might book a whole day up for a few of us on here
Its not at Millbrook though is it???Andy only takes 4 cars max per day and is constantly watching you and giving feedback

One last question prompted by recent posts - from combined experience, are my tyres likely to get shagged out in two hours?
I've got a set I use for trackdays but they are a bit marginal for road use, so do you think it's worth swapping them over?
You should be OKI've got a set I use for trackdays but they are a bit marginal for road use, so do you think it's worth swapping them over?
I'd leave the road tyres on - I presume you want to "feel" the improvements in a road set up as you learn through the session
Here's a question and my apologies in advance for going off topic, however isn't it about £14k to hire Oulton Park for the day? I used to go track days with No Limits and i'm sure this was the figure that was mooted.
14 Astons with the track to ourselves? If there's any interest I'll look into this further, establishing the actual cost being first off. However one stipulation for the insurance for use of the track was a ban on using any timing equipment.
And it provides the perfect excuse for a trip to Banford Rose.

No it's North Weald Airfield with LOTS of run off and nothing hard to hit and no Gazebos

Thanks for those comments and that sounds like good advice Lewis.
As I say, I imagine the chap has a programme in mind but it's useful to know what's what.
Sounds like Alpine and outer handling circuit, and you've got to see what top speed is.....
I did get air once at a hump-back bridge in Sussex in my Vantage and it's not something I'm that keen to repeat.
There is a hump where you can get airborne on the Alpine circuit. You won't damage the car. Do it. It feels brilliant. As I say, I imagine the chap has a programme in mind but it's useful to know what's what.

That's the one - thanks.
I'm still waiting for BR to come up with their heel and toe mod, which is not just a bigger pedal but also a modification to the pedal box. Press the throttle potentiometers (here are three xobtrolling all planes of movement) in the wrong direction (i.e. leaning on them at a different-to-expected angle) and you can trigger the limp mode! With Astons, nothing is easy

Not to sound excessively thick, but why would they want three potentiometers?Press the throttle potentiometers (here are three xobtrolling all planes of movement) in the wrong direction (i.e. leaning on them at a different-to-expected angle) and you can trigger the limp mode! I certainly can't heel and toe my V8V, but I never really mastered the art anyway.
