The Queen owns it cos she paid for it.
Charles is probably the registered keeper.
The finance company was in jest, somehow I don't think the richest woman in Britain would need a car loan ?

The Queen isn't the richest woman in Britain. She doesn't even make the top fifteen. She is custodian of enormous assets but she is not high on the personal wealth list.

Only because its their 60th wedding anniversary............or perhaps its because I now own an Aston.
I must keep some dates free in July for garden parties at the palace, Balmoral in August.
Charles and I could compare chassis numbers.

arise Sir Alan.........am I now part of the aristocracy, a benefit of owning an Aston not commonly known

Paying for something doesn't mean ownership. The car was a gift to Charles.

Anyway, many congratulations to your parents.

Okay, SLacker is the official winner.
Your winners cheque "is in the post" as the saying goes.
Jockman was second, which in my book is the first loser so he get nothing

Are you trying to suggest that drivers of Volante's might bat for the other side ? Have you mentioned this to Yeti ?

Yeti is androgynous.

For him to 'bat for the other side' would involve an extraterrestrial experience yes
