Actually Karl, the type of bonded aluminium chassis structure Lotus and AM currently use was originally conceived by Austin-Rover and Alcan in the early 80's and was showcased on a aerodynamic/lightweight concept car called the ECV 3.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)

Lotus were the first company to use that type of chassis structure on an actual production car though.

I know what you mean but there is a very small glass partition.But I think that the Volvo reps must have been getting bored with the nerds coming onto their stand just to take photos of the back of a trio of Astons. That's certainly where I got mine from.
