Any good tips on what to use to clean and protect EXTERIOR carbon fibre?

I've heard that some cleaners and especially polishes & waxes can make carbon fibre look a bit manky.

I've got most things from the Autoglym range so if something from them, would be a plus.

Cheers

Carbon fibre is just like the painted panels, in that they are clear coated and can be polished and waxed etc. exposure to light or large amounts of heat can cause the carbon to fade (as seen in many Ferrari engine bays).

Clean with a decent gentle paint cleaner and then wax or sealant. One that has good uv protection is best.

Good coating of mud protects the exterior, dust protects the interior.

It's never let me down yet.

Paint would protect the carbon fibre well, and look miles better as a bonus smile

Don't get me going on dust. There seem to be special feature where even if you don't drive the blasted thing the interior get's dusty!
