I purchased my V8V from the area in which DC lives!
I was quite smug after collecting it, only moments later to see DC driving his DBS from Casino Royale (which was given to him after the film apparently).

I wonder which dealer stock one he ended up with?
Or maybe the Dr gave him the white one?

im not sure it was given to him after the film......the 3 cars that were scrapped during filming were scapped in Liverpool under the watchful eye of a representative from AM and HMCE who refunded the VAT on the cars

Ahh - that is the one I was talking about - I had recalled it was Volcano Red! DOH

Still I wouldnt put it past the press to call what is actually Flame Orange, "Bright Red"...

Just looked at Alwin's Register for V12VR's and he has details of 90+ of the V12VR's built. Three red cars shown which are Volcano (No - we know who has that one!), Red Lion (could definitely be described as bright Red) or Amethyst (could not be described as bright Red). So my thoughts are that it is the Red Lion one or he has been lent one of the two Flame Orange demonstrators to celebrate his birthday - wonder if we will ever know

Interesting. Looking at the photo, I think it is Flame Orange.
There's only two Flame Orange V12VR's on my list: http://www.v12vantageroadster.com/the-register/

One is the demo that was first spotted at the Nurburgring (KX12KMU) and the other is the one that was for sale at a dealer a while ago (can't find the thread now).
