My DB9 is still with Bamford Rose., almost 4 weeks now and I'm really missing the fun of driving it.
Was originally just the manifolds and cam but as the original sport pack wasn't that great, am having the full BR dampers, under trays, bushes etc., plus their big brake kit. So that I believe is it fully upgraded.
Can't wait to get it back - hopefully next Friday (fingers and toes crossed).

Fellas, frankly you couldn't have picked a better time of year to be without your cars. As Mikey K's thread has alluded to, we are all in a similar position with the difference being that yours are being improved; ours are just sitting in the garage waiting to be used. Consider yourselves very lucky indeed. Look forward to hearing about the upgrades in due course. Bring on the spring....
I would be using my car even in this weather! Only time it would not go out is if there was snow on the roads. The car is still with BR. Couple of bits still to come from AM plus when they did their QC on the new dampers one of them failed. However hard it is to wait I am pleased they are so methodical and certain the end result will be worth the wait. Still hoping it will be this week so I can give it a blast over Easter but if not then another long trip planned for the weekend after.
I took my 993 out of storage so I still have a fun car to drive whilst I wait and its been a reminder how good a well sorted 993 can be. Was going to sell it but its back on the keeper list.
Will do a write-up on the BR mods once the cars back.

I'm taking my 996 Cab down to Poole tomorrow to put the deposit on the Morgan... It's up for sale and I know that after the drive I am not going to want to part with it!! Call them common, call them flawed from an engineeribg perspectve, call them what you want... 911s are just very good cars ![yes](/inc/images/yes.gif)

Let's hear more about the Morgan!
I haven't even sat in it yet ![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
Actualy I have never even had a close look at a Morgan, just seems the kind of thing I'd like once I've spent double the value of the car upgrading bits.
I've now managed to turn my 38 years into 68 years, in the full knowledge that if I ever reach 68 I shall wish the opposite
