Hmmm, bigger wheels and a massive rear wing which will make you look stupid on a public road..........£21k for the privilege............ 
Is it just me, or is this very much a damp squib of a release ? It certainly didn't require any press embargo that's for sure !

Considering the aerokit was £20k + fitting, its actually quite good value when you look at the main performance tweaks thrown in the mix effectively for free.
That said, it does nothing to pique my interest really. Needs the V12 and and a manual gearbox fitting before my eyebrow will raise.

That said, a GT8 or GT12 to me basically looks like a race car, so I get it. This release to me looks like a "normal" car with a wing stuck on the back of it. That's more where I was going with it.

Also, when it comes to the increased power, is anyone really that bothered (genuine question) ? Unless you're tracking it, then all these numbers are pretty irrelevant in my book, as everything is fast these days. It's far more about sound for me.

Agreed, 25bhp is a bit of a dissapointment really, and still way down on the old V12VS output, and missing 4 cylinders, and full of fake pops n crackles. For me, just makes the last gen of cars look all the better value. Once upon a time I didnt see me keeping any car for more than 2-3yrs. Now I cant see that I will sell either of these ever, and once everything is battery powered, well thats me out.
I find it all a bit of an anticlimax really, after reading about it a couple of weeks ago in the magazine. I do think it looks pretty good, but the power hike is minimal. Will it make much difference to the performance on the road? Surely it needed nearer 550/600bhp, or, wash my mouth out, a V12? I do also find it rather puzzling that a manual isn’t offered. AP was always a big fan and advocate of manual gearboxes, but perhaps the new MB connections don’t consider them relevant anymore? I’m still of the view, that despite these updates, I think I’d rather wait for another year or two, to see how the new Vantage changes. This iteration, whilst looking the best so far, does rather look like it’s desperately trying to cash in on the upcoming F1 exposure. And as Big Ry said, did it really warrant a press embargo?!

I reckon there must be some buyers, who would like to have a road going lookalike Formula One Safety Car.
Think they will sell some, although possibly not to PHers.
Now that leads us on to a road going lookalike Medical Car.

To be clear, whilst wings and all that jazz are not for me, it's not that I don't like it (colour is nice and wheels look good), I just don't get why it needed a press embargo, or why anyone would shell out another twenty grand for it, but that's the beauty of choice I guess, each to their own.As for a lack of manual, I'm beginning to think that the option will be very quietly fazed out. It's dead as a Dodo in 9 years anyway, so I if sales are minimal, then why continue with it ? I'd like to see stats, but I bet manuals are a very small percentage of new Vantage sales globally.

Other than the looks , the noise ,the weight savings ,the body shape , the interior , the very limited numbers ,the additional carbon etc etc not quite sure this is the case.
Being sold to match the F1 so presumably that will also involve getting the Satin finish -dread to think how that will be to look after.

According to the official AM website the green is called Gloss Aston Martin Racing Green. Two versions of black or white are also available (Satin or Gloss Jet Black and Satin or Gloss Lunar White)
