I think there are some valid points there - for instance when I drove the E92 M3, you couldn't enjoy it at speeds that would enable one to stay out of prison, where as my E46 you could. Perhaps the V12V is the same, you can only use 6/10ths on the road.

I watched two of them get used to 11/10ths in the wet on some twisties B roads yesterday - very impressed!
