I’ve been very happy with them for the last year on my V12V. Great sales process, product is good, and customer service has been great - for any changes I’ve just written an email to a human being, who replies and tells me the policy document is updated and there’s no charge. Perfect
No experience of a claim, touch wood..

I can second every word of this. My Lockton policy is with Chubb but come renewal I believe their new deal is with AXA XL.No experience of a claim, touch wood..
I'll be looking around shortly in advance of my renewal come end of July so would also appreciate any recommendations
I bought my first Aston in early 2017 and insured it with Locktons. In 2018, my windscreen was cracked and AM Sevenoaks told me that I had would most likely need to get a quotation approved by my Insurer got them to do sort it. I then called Locktons, they said just get it done by AM Sevenoaks in order to get a proper job done. I did, paid the £3,000+ Invoice, sent a copy to Locktons and they paid me before the credit card bill came in. Great customeer service in all respects to date. From a recent thread, they may not be the cheapest.
I was with Aviva direct, but at last renewal changed to NFU.
They still do insurance in the traditional way, even retaining offices in many towns, but the premiums seem reasonable.
With our cars being out of use for quite a while, insurers will of course have eperienced fewer claims than normal.
NfU here, including house.
Dbs was with locktons but v expensive, more than double NFU. NFU have all my cars on one policy and I can email a human.
Premiums are monthly with no credit charge for doing so.
I have experienced claims with NFU for home insurance and our horsebox, and some glass replacement on our tractor. Always very good and no quibble.

I am with Locktons/Chubb via AMOC.
Although expensive, the part of the cover that made me stay was loss of value in the event of an accident.
I have a Classic Vanquish and not many people will touch a crashed one, so this was great, but I understand AXA won't be offering this, so will gthen shop around.
Do any of your policies give this loss of value cover?

I've been with Manning UK for the past two years, they are a broker, I still check the comparison sites around renewal time but their renewal always beats anything that I can find on the comparison sites, I think the initial recommendation to try them came from someone on here so I think they cover a few Aston's, they also include free track day cover not that I need it personally.
I’ve got my quote in from Lockton’s but thought I’d give NFU a chance .
Spoke to a real person at NFU yesterday for a quote , like going back to the 80’s .
To be fair she said it would take 20 minutes to go through everything, checked my phone and it was 20 minutes 3 seconds when I finished the call.
I’ll see what they come back with.
Thanks again.

Spoke to a lovely woman at NFU who also spent plenty of time with me on the 'phone - a very pleasant experience.
Unfortunately she couldn't get anywhere near a couple of other quotes for 4 car multi-policy.
They never rang me back , I had to chase them up , ended up speaking to a call centre worker who was obviously reading from a script and didn’t listen to the fact I was trying to confirm that a quote had been done , eventually it was emailed over to me the next day.Unfortunately she couldn't get anywhere near a couple of other quotes for 4 car multi-policy.
A bit disappointed to find it was £200 more than I was currently paying , no thanks.
Interesting to hear the comments about NFU. I’ve only had contact with them regarding home insurance. I agree they are very nice and old school to deal with but their quote was two and a half times that of LV.
I’ve just insured my Vantage with Admiral for £350. Unfortunately nowadays, it pays to switch companies every year, loyalty is not rewarded.

Guys you really cant just quote premiums and expect to compare.... It HUGELY depends on your postcode, your driving experience, your age, the value of the car. its just apples, orangutans and pairs of shoes.
Your quote of £300 might cost me £1000 on the same car in the same postcode. its meaningless to quote premiums.
