don, what year is your car? I would hate to lose that leather smell! Every time I get into my car, that smell renews my excitement for the car and going for a drive in it.
It's a 2007. The smell seems to have disappeared over the last year.X7LDA said:
Without buying any product and assuming you have a secure garage; give the leather a good wipe with a clean rinsed cloth and then crack the both windows. Clean the carpets properly then leave the car to air for a week or two and it will bring back that fresh leather smell in no time.
I washed the seats, doors, dash and steering wheel this morning. Some of the old smell is back - so a big thank you!I also popped out to Halfords this afternoon, but they don't seem to stock the Liquid Leather. I shall wait a few days and see if the situation improves further. If it doesn't, then I shall order the Liquid Leather over the internet.
Thanks for all the replies.
