Best time to buy?

ive been keeping a sneaky eye on the early AMV8 market for a while now, The original plan was to purchase april 2013 to allow me to iron out problems before LeMans.
It all stems from a drunken handshake whilst camping on houx this year, you know the type "yarr im going to buy one of those (points in the vauge direction of a vantage) and come here in it next year"
So anyway not being one to break my word, im now on the look out. Im pretty set on buying it from a dealer, buying private scares the crap out of me on something like this. Warranty is a word i very much like the sound of.
Ive noticed as we head into winter the prices do seem to be backing off a bit. although im not sure if thats because of the time of year or natural depretion sp*.
So my question is what time of year is best.
Im pretty much in the position to buy any time now but ideally march. although if the same car will cost me 2k more in march than say december then ill buy myself a christmas present.
Your feedback would be great.

Im not sure i want to be buying before winter unless its the right thing to do, as it would either have to be the daily or i would have to leave it in the garage.. which clearly wouldnt happen.

im not keep on the torro red, it looks like dry blood. sorry to anyone that owns it. just looks more like a brown in anything other than direct sun light.
Ill watch, see if they reduce it any more over time. i dont have to have that car, ill not be dissapointed if they sell it if you know what i mean. I think if i see the right car ill be all over it like a sweaty rash.

I havnt asked any more on the blue one, holding out to see if a red one comes in.
I cant see that blue one selling too soon, its a bit marmite isnt it.
my purchasing window is now december - feb.
I dont fancy the idea of running one through the full winter.

I was shown around one at the dealers, that was my 1st impression, just wansnt the red i was expecting, maybe it was a particularly poor example, it did however put me off as it was quite high on my list.
Perhaps i need to see a more cherished example as it was covered in swirls and fine scratches.
