Had to alter the garage first!!!!
Floor to ceiling shelves at the back of the garage is just too tight test fit whilst out on test drive 5mm clearence when door closed yikes

Knocked a hole in each wall and slipped a L steel in 50mm x 50mm put a bearer on the back wall dropped a shelf on.
Split the shelves into 2 and bingo room for the car.
Also got rid of a fare bit of junk biggrin
DBS is a bit longer than the Vantage

Took my last photo this morning,

After the drive to the dealers roof off at +3c it was bracing but worth it i felt a bit down letting the car go frown

The car is not ready till next week so these are the piccies taken at the dealer.

Hopefully the weather holds for next weekend tongue out

1 Owner and only 6000 miles manual too biggrin

Out of interest, was the Virage => DBS wipers an easy job? Do you mind me asking how much the job was? I am desperate to get rid of my DB9 wipers for the Virage/late DBS wipers.
Approx £400 can't help more than that as i have left the clear lights on the Vantage so it was a straight swap roughly smile

Blimey not a great start less than a mile from the dealership i press my foot down in 2nd gear in a straight line and the car goes sideways eek shook us both up.
Took my time for the rest of the journey and it's now in the garage and it fits too smile

I will have to be more carefull in damp conditions and treat it as a V12 not a V8!

Sorry guys we've had family round and were still packing for our holiday tommorow (WIFE'S 50TH) it's just the way it's fallen.

I did take it out breifly after they had all gone to Sainsburys actually laugh

Anyway after my brief scare with the power the steering is much lighter than the vantage and ive got to grips with the gearbox quickly and i don't find the clutch heavy.
The burble is fantastic and when you blip it it roars!biggrin
The dash is much better of this 08 model BT works with the phone and the volume works correctly with the steering wheel button
Lighting in the cabin is improved and ive not listened to the hi-fi yet.

To feel the full power im going to have to wait till spring if it can bite that easy yikes

Yes it's a bit tight i could bring the mirrors in so i could move the car over a bit.

Im not fat so i can get out ok it looks worse than it looks, it's not that much wider than the Vantage.

Had a 60 mile hoon this morning with a few Astons biggrin

This drives easy once you give the power some respect whistle
Gear changes very smooth ive gelled with it quickly,
Is the steering wheel smaller it seems to be?
Had a play with the hifi the ipod works well much easier to select what you want.
The seats grip you well with the alcantara it has a anti slip touch.

I might be wrong but the car seem to grip better after the tyres warmed up despite the road being wet.

Only managed 16 mpg frown and the car is now filthy.eek

As for the garage i moved my mirrors in when driving in and now i have the same room down the side of the car as i did with the Vantage.
