Chatting to "Dr" Mike last night Bruce will be starting to lay hands on in the next few weeks
The boys at BR are all getting rather excited having seem various components for Johnny 550 go on to 4.7's with great results
The sum of the parts and increased capacity is going to create a monster

Bit of a hiatus with this
A few of the key people at BR have had personal stuff going on outside BR so timings have slipped
Most the parts are in now I'm lead to believe.
A couple of the rods were of unacceptable quality to BR so are being replaced.
Very doubtful this will be sorted before I "do" Scotland but it will be worth wait so I'm being patient

Dropped off Johnny at lunch
Adrian gave Johnny a preop check with no major issues found (phew)
Boy he knows his stuff! - within 100 yds of driving he'd spotted the "issues" I wanted them to look at
We talked about tyres and came up with a couple of options - DBS alloys with std 295's on or existing alloys and up the tyre to 285's I'm favouring the latter as the existing alloys are the light weight ones.
Probably will go to PSS's as well.

Keep us posted Mike. Your car is going to be very special indeed. Am I wrong in stating that it will be packing a full GT4 race spec motor but with a 5ltr capacity topped off with a dual induction system? I am going to have a wager with you. I reckon on Bamford Rose achieving at least 560 BHP. Anything less and you lose the bet. All monies to Help the Heroes. I'm in for £10 cos I'm flash!
5.0GT4 spec plus larger valves, twin throttles & pinnacle exhaustsProbably 200 cell cats with resonators, exhaust valve always closed until the sport button is pressed then all hell will break lose!
You'd better pay the £10 now

Do you think you Johnny561.2 (My guess for the final figure ) will be ready for the Mcgurk meet?
If so, I call shotgun on first passenger ride please .
Maybe I should start a poll If so, I call shotgun on first passenger ride please .
The "boys" were cagey about finish date as they need to allow for service work and last minute customer requests
Hopefully it will be done by then but I'd rather they didn't rush it.
