Guys

I attach some photos taken by the dealer showing some leaks from the transmission oil cooler pipes and an undiagnosed leak somewhere from the engine.

The dealer has added some dye to see where the leak originates from and has said they will monitor at the next service, which is in 12 months. The other transmission pipes I am being told need replacing.

Given I am a layman on these things, can anyone share a view on severity of the said leaks before I shell out? Maybe a trip to BR for their opinion?

Thanks

I wouldn't want my DB9 leaking oil. I've burst an oil pipe on a car before and it's very scary when the oil hits the exhaust and covers everything in smoke (can't believe it didn't burn). Plus oil pressure drops to zero and you are most likely ragging it.

For the cost of a few pipes and hours labour I would go to BR. If it needs doing, they will tell you. And if it doesn't need doing, they will tell you. Just be ready to be tempted by all their goodies to make the 9 an even better drivers car.
Thanks, TBH the cost is secondary to me, just don't want to be ripped off, apparently the transmission oil cooler pipe replacement is a big job as Aston only supply a replacement kit, not individual pipes, plus front of car off, bumper etc to get to the oiler cooler.
