Browsing the classifieds and saw this- it looks very keenly priced. All other DB9 volante's at £40k ish?

Wonder if its HPI clear...?
It looks to be a good price and I reckon in a couple of years time if I looked after it well it shouldn't lose too much value?

That's what I thought - so relatively deprecation free motoring for a year or so?

Does anyone know any good ppi company around there?

Sooo tempted!!! Mrs has given me the go ahead too!!!

Anything else you can think I need to ask the seller?

Also anything I should know about this vintage db9 as I'm not very clued up about them.

Thanks!

Also I don't currently have a garage to keep the car, would it be ok outside?

I hope to try this car and tick it off my list for maybe a year or two and then hopefully try a ferrari 360 or 430

Thanks for the advice. If I go for it id get an inspection at Aston and get the £2k warranty for the first year I think

According to the ad - he says - with new coils and brakes and New winters tyres worth £2600 included in sale.

Apparently its just had £3k spent on it at its last aston service 2 weeks ago...

A dealer car of this spec is probably £42k - I am not sure there will be £10k of work to do?

With a check and a warranty it comes in at circa £34k even and still 8K under dealer price. Not sure how I can go wrong...

Thanks for all the advice and cautions. Would the service invoice have advisories on and would everything be checked at a service?

Could it be he's had it in for a service, spent 3k on it and been told that it's got a lot more serious problems?

From talking to the seller it currently has outstanding finance on it which will xfer to the new car he is getting.

I know this can be a red flag, as really it would need to be settled on this car before I buy it surely?

Does anyone know how the buying process would work? Normally I guess I'd pay the finance company direct and then pay the balance to him but if he doesn't want to pay off the finance how could I know it was transferred at the right time? If he didn't have the new car yet - I'd be driving it away with finance still on it?!
