V12 Vantage only came with a manual gearbox. Sportshift only option (sadly) with V12 Vantage S replacement.
Congrats on the new car and agreed, ideal spec: B&O, lightweight seats... and manual gearbox. A keeper!
And only 9000 miles which is a whole other debate as to if thats a good thing.Congrats on the new car and agreed, ideal spec: B&O, lightweight seats... and manual gearbox. A keeper!

Sorry about revealing this but I thought you should know, isn't this forum about sharing information? And if this were my car the fact it has been tested on track wouldn't bother me at all. The car can take a track day or two without problem. And you probably have a warranty? Don't worry, you bought a great car. The fact it's been approved by EVO might even be a bonus!
No problem thanks for letting me know.Have negotiated a 2 year warranty so no real concerns its just the car sales big it up bullst that gets on my tits!
Demonstrator so better spec owner who only polished it and went to church on Sundays blah blah blah!!!
When you spend this sort of dough on a car which incidentaly i have never done before you dont need doubts as to the provenance of what your buying.
Just wanted to be excited!

When I saw your photgraph David, I did wonder when I saw the KX registration, but I did not want to say anything. Many AML owned cars seem to have these letters.
Your dealer might have been correct saying "demonstrator", but probably it was not their demonstrator.
I would not worry. Many owners are heading for Cadwell to track their cars. They won't worry afterwards. Just enjoy. Our cars are built to cope with fast driving.

Yes I agree. Didn't really think about it. Again please accept my apologies!
Although it's not like it's a secret, there are pictures of the car on the net and in the press.
It certainly wouldn't have put me off buying this car. It's been owned by Aston Martin and they will have brought the car in super condition before selling it on.
The only negative point here is the vendor's lack of information.
Nothing wrong with the car I should think.
No apology necessary in fact i appreciate the heads up it is as you say in the public domain should you wish to look.Although it's not like it's a secret, there are pictures of the car on the net and in the press.

I touched that car a couple of days ago as I couldn't help commenting on how gorgeous the paint was (they said it was a £3k option). Tidy!
Maybe a Cardiff meet is in order - went to a club meet once but other members came in Land Rovers so didn't think it was for me!
