Open to Aston and Supercar owners, Aston Martin Brentwood have kindly organised breakfast snacks and drinks for us at 10.30am. We will be parking up, enjoying some breakfast and checking out some Astons.

We will then proceed as a convoy on a route along some of the great country roads in the area. It should be a great start to a Sunday!

I will be driving down from King's Cross as a mini convoy earlier in the morning at 9am if you wish to join us.

If enough people are interested we may also stop off for lunch. More details to follow.

You'll need to register for your FREE tickets from here:
https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/brentwood-breakfast...

This makes it a lot easier for me to track the event and its attendees and message them if necessary. Hope to see you guys there! smile

UPDATE: All spaces taken. You can still sign up to the waitlist though if anyone cancels on the link above.

All registered will meet at Kings X same place as last time. Looking forward to it. I do hope some other SWMBO are coming or Wendy is going to be chewing my bits. Lunch would be good if we can find somewhere enjoyed last time. See you on the 16.
SWMBO? You mean WAGS? biggrin

Mine and Dave's other halves are definitely coming to this one so I encourage you all to bring the girls* so that they can all have a good old chin wag over handbags and shoes... wink

(*avinalarf included)

Also we've got 4 McLarens coming so far...

Just a quick update. We currently have 21 cars coming but that should hopefully be 30 by next Sunday. A week to go!

As well as breakfast snacks there will also be a catering van for those wishing for hot sausage rolls etc.

There will be two sales people and two hosts looking after us with one guy coming out with us for the drive.

I will shortly be putting up lunch details...

avinalarf: you bringing the Mrs with you this time??

I have to admit you and El Toro definitely take up the "eccentric" allocation for this event... biggrin

Just an update: we currently have 24 cars confirmed as well as quite a few maybes who I'm waiting on. The vast majority are Astons and McLarens. A bit of a British day out!

The ABSOLUTE MAX is 30 as that's all Aston Brentwood have space for. So if you know anyone who's wavering or may be interested let them know... wink

Spoke to Senora Toro about 30 cars at Grange....We struggled to get our two in there on the way to Windsor Castle Concours a few weeks ago....Let's hope that was because it was a Friday. However, I doubt you will have the open spaces I see from the photos of your last caper.
She wondered if they had commandeered space in The Bull's car park opposite? Quite a nice pub but we expect them to do a lot of Sunday lunches.... I suppose an impromptu display of Astons & Maclarens might increase footfall.
Looking forward to welcoming you all to The Far East as Steve calls it. :-)
Hello my friend, from my understanding all 30 cars will be on the premises. That's their absolute max that they can accommodate so I assume they've moved certain things around?

It could be quite tight...but I heard you Essex folks like it like that. wink

We're now on 26 cars...

I take it you've got me down as joining you ?
I swear I wrote down avinalarf in my spreadsheet the other day yet for some strange reason it seems to have vanished...

Did you register on the Eventbrite page? Otherwise I'll add you now. Won't be the same without you! biggrin

Tried to register on Evevtbrite page but I needed to register.
As you know I like to travel incognito so aim to keep a low profile.
Were you in King's Cross today? I saw a bald man with a scarf walking down the road... wink

Don't worry, I've added you to my spreadsheet. All I need to know is whether you'll be bringing any passengers, whether you'll be joining us for lunch and whether you'll be going straight to Brentwood or meeting up with some of us earlier at King's Cross.

I can now also confirm I have booked BENTLEY GOLF COURSE in Brentwood for lunch for arrival at 13.30. Enough time for us to chill at Aston Brentwood and drive around some great country roads as a convoy. It was recommended to me by a fellow McLaren owner and they have plenty of parking. They do a 3 course traditional Sunday lunch for £15.95 and should be a great venue to relax and admire the cars in. They also have a bar.

Their website:

Sample menu:

Hope quite a few of you can make it. Will make for a great Sunday!

Hi Nij.

It looks like I could make it on the way to a lunch somewhere else - hoping to join you for a quick coffee and hello. Is that OK?

Are you accepting intruders in Italian cars? I am looking after my son's Italian car this week and would probably come in that, also if OK.

All the best.
Hello my friend, yes you're more than welcome! We have a few Italians and a couple of Germans gatecrashing. Be good to see you again - I will add you to my spreadsheet.

I'm in too, the WAG may or may not join but as usual no clear answer from her yet!

Being Brentwood, should I tippex my teeth? (I'm already rather naturally tanned).
As she missed the last one my WAG is being forced to come this time. Being partial to a bit of Only Way is Essex hopefully she can spot some local "celebs" while I "accidentally" run them over... biggrin

Friend of mine just said he fancies popping along - will either be in a 458 speciale or 488 - that OK?
That's great! Can you get him to sign up at the Eventbrite page?

https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/brentwood-breakfast...

I think we've literally filled up all the spaces... Might have to leave one of my cars to make space for anyone after this...! smile

Not sure if you were aware but there is such a thing as Towie Tours.
I just looked in my internet favourites and chopped (that's Essex speak for cut and paste) the below.
I am waiting for confirmation as to how they knew?

Come and visit some of the locations from the hit ITV show – The Only Way is Essex. This unique tour is a great way to get closer to the cast and characters from the hit show and will be the closest thing to being in an episode of TOWIE. Sometimes we even have geezers wiv nice motors bowling about the gaff with names like Ace n El Toro n Nij n Stevejay n V8staffie init I fault they must be Avinalarf. But its real n reem I am not sausagin ya either!

With locations scattered across Essex, this four hour mini-coach tour is the most ‘reem’ way to see the sites.

You’ll have the chance to get out of the bus on several occasions, take pictures and browse inside a few of the shops owned by current and former cast members, shops which have also featured in the show! Selfies are mandatory especially around the Astern Marteen garidge opposite LIDL.

This tour is a great way to see the county of Essex, as our guide shows you the sites from the show.

Along the way, we’ll test your knowledge of TOWIE with our trivia quiz(spelling your name right often wins it) and you’ll have the chance to watch episodes as you travel between locations.

The Only Way is Essex Tour will finish back at Brentwood railway station. Where coaches are laid on to go to a local golf club where you are able to run about as nature intended near the "Bentley"
Watch those speed cameras en route from Kings X
Haha. Brilliant! I need to share your post with the wife... wink

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning and hopefully we'll be either lucky and / or strong enough of will to withstand any potential rain... wink

I sent everyone who registered through Eventbrite a message earlier today. If anyone here needs more info or didn't receive the message please PM me.

Cheers, Nij smile
