2018 VANTAGE & THE SALES CYCLE
Discussion
Of course we do not know, but as the new Vantage model was not announced at Geneva, some have wondered whether the launch might perhaps have been delayed.
It has occurred to me that there could be a connection with the DB11. The Company seem to be very pleased with the number of orders for the DB11. The two charts below show what always happens to new model sales. Therefore, if production of the DB11 is now at a higher level than anticipated, then possibly the new Vantage could have been held back slightly, so that it can produce a second production peak, when DB11 sales might be expected to slow.

I struggle to see the sales success of the DB11 as more and more "launch edition" cars appear on the various websites. I think that there are more than 30 cars available in various configurations and some are around list price which means that dealers will be buying them below list ...
Interesting.
I see there are 11 on the used list, presumably mostly demonstrators.
One is at £179,000 with 700 miles and lots of options, even includes jewellery.
What would the list price be on that spec.?
No premiums on these then.
