DBS Footwell speakers

Hey Guys,

This is my first time writing after I asked about purchasing advice a while back for a 2010 DBS Volante. Got the car and have done about 600 miles in it so far. No surprises so far apart from what I already knew before I got it. Its a joy to drive around in and brings wide grins like this

After pulling out a certin circuit braker its not often I listen to load music while driving anymore. but yesterday I noticed that my footwell speakers were rattling when plying loud music at cirtan base tones ( volume above 70-75% ). Decided to remove the covers and it was a bit nasty

Looking around for solutions? Refoaming maybe? What do u guys think?

Replacing the speaker is the cure, the membrane is broken. I can‘t tell the size from the pict but if it is 10cm Focal Pc-100 are a very good choice and should fit. I replaced the original speakers in my V8V with them as well as some others did. Love them.

They are 140mm B&O woofers , a bit hard to find something that will fit in the box. I orderd new rubber rings and will try to fix them.

Thx for the suggestion though.

Hot dry weather maybe? I’m in Riyadh and summers are 45 degrees C.

Had the car for 3 month now and just discovered it the other day when playing something very loud at almost max volume. Anyway should be easy to fix with new rubber rings

130mm (5 1/4") is likely a good fit. Otherwise as Christian states (Focal) will make an actual improvement. Honestly, the B&O woofers aren't worth fixing.

Now u got me in to it. As I’m replacing the woofers do you guys think the focal utopia BE 13WS would be a good option or should i just stick with the pc130?
