I received a letter this morning from my dealer asking me to put money down against my DBS position (No2 on list). I am now in a real dilemna.
I have had a V8 Vantage since January 2006 and I have very much enjoyed it, and I love the look of the DBS in Casino Royale. My dealer tells me that the car is going to be in the region of £170,000 (I am sure this is before I start adding options) but this is all they are telling me at the moment. I am worried that the price is a little high compared to the competition (599 and LP640) and I just don't know if I want to spend this sort of money without knowing more about the car.
I am definately ready to consider changing the Vantage, and I think I need to chose between DBS, Gallardo or maybe even LP640.
Does anybody else know any more information or have any opinions.

There seems to be a fairly consistent view coming from most people regarding the DBS. I have decided against one of the early cars as I think there is a significant chance that it may suffer some serious depreciation. I am sure that the car will be very good, but will it be good enough?
