Tried it thanks, also tried removing fuses 82 & 83, no good.

It's at the dealers, they suspect a bad battery or door modules. But they won't touch it until the warranty has transferred into my name. But they don't seem able to tell me how long that's going to take.

Dead battery was causing window and mirror issues. Door lock cable was tightened so that works now.

Also have found and activated the tracker. It is a Eurowatch tracker and would have had tags but they're long gone. It can be paired via bluetooth to my phone. Which is a bit inconvenient when it goes into the garage (I know I can pair it with 3 more phones).

It is having an oil leak fixed under warranty, and I've found a few rust bubble around both door handles. Has anyone had similar? Will the Anti-corrosion warranty pay out on this?

Also anyone know how much replacement tracker tags are?

a percentage with yourself picking up the remainder.
The rub being that a percentage of what they charge will still probably be more than if I get it all done myself by a decent bodyshop.

When I called around to get a quote for fittong front brake pads, my nearest dealer were the most expensive by some considerable margin smile So I'm guessing bodywork won't be any different.

It seems a bit off that a '10 year anti-corrosion warranty' actually means if you get any rust within 10 years we'll consider reapiring it and get you to pay half!!

...cant be classed as rust as most the panels are not even metal
Yes I assume the correct term is oxidisation as I think the doors are aluminium... but you knew what I meant smile

Bit worrying that you have it all over your car. I wouldn't expect it on a 4 year Focus let alone a car that had a sticker price of £90k or so frown

I just call them and put it in to service mode.
They ask for where it is so they can keep an eye out for abnormal movements.
Oh really? Didn't realise you could do that, thanks for that.
