How do you guys get your fuel figures Ona long run/motorway I get ~17 mpg, around town I think about 10-12, and when I took it on the track, close to 6 !!
Obviously you guys just can't drive properly

I blame my great mpg on running the car in at teh moment On the old engine I'd get 7-8mpg round sliverstone...

Come to Combe on a track day and we will see who is the better drinker of fuel!
I suspect my previous track mileage will be eclipsed one the new engine is mapped... big ports. Not going to chase yours down though - you've been on a serious diet mate!
Anyway - my turbo's bigger than yours ;p
I've owned both and the running costs are not too disimilar albeit petrol has become more expensive. Insurance is within £50 for me and Mrs Dai Capp, mileage is around 18mpg in the RX against around 22mpg in the Griff but when you only do around 5000 miles a year it's hardly massive and to date my yearly services have been cheaper in TVR land.
My RX is quicker and handles better that my Griffith 500's but there is something about the Griff I miss. If I sold the RX the car I would go back to is the Griffith without question.
Cheers
