it's basically a GT42R. I think the KAI version is the 70mm one so GT4294R.

Be careful when listening to people talk about their own turbo's, most tend to exagerated. Also it may have been in 6th gear up a hill, the higher the gear the more load, the sooner you will generate boost. I have a datalog of my black car hiting 20psi @2800 rpm, but that was in 6th
