I dont think you can say whether to go for modded or not, as it all depends on the car/seller.

Some complete Max-Muppet could have put the car registered & insured in his mums name back to standard and got her to sell it for him. Whereas quite a modified car from an SXOC enthusiast that has been serviced every 3k miles, and had weekly check ups would clearly be the better buy.

Take them on a car by car basis. Go and see all the S14's in your area, so you can get an idea of whats good & bad etc. Even if you dont like the colour, or its an auto etc.

Most S14's are UK cars anyway, AFAIK. Not many imports out there.

2nd Gen Rexs aren't the best looking cars though are they?

They look really dated IMO.

(not that looks really matter I suppose, thats what my mum tells me anyway)

that's fighting talk, that is! I love my FC, ok so it does have that 80s look to it - they are 16-18 years old - (but so does the Porsche 944 - which has similar lines), but I think it looks great, the S13 also has the dated look to it and the S14 I think looks dull IMHO, the S14a is better, but still not very exciting.

Its in the classified section and I am based in Kingston.
Seriously though, they are good value for feelgood factor and grins.
I am only selling up because I am leaving the country.
