Hatchbacks usually have folding rear seats, this means you can put large things like furniture, luggage, bikes, camping gear..etc in the back and stack them up to the roof. In saloon cars thats not possible.(even if they have folding seats you cannot stack to the roof)

Yeah I see what you mean. hehe with the back seats folded down I can fit a bed in mine. (have to take the headboard off though)

Its boring stuff i know but i already have enough impractical toys, my everyday car needs to be fun and practical.

yes I know the feeling, except I can't afford the impractical toys as well so just have the practical car. Impractical toys will join it once I finish uni and start working.

Thats a bit over the top isn't it Ben. A full size bed in the back of yours. If you get up to those sorts of things wouldn't a day van with a mattress suffice?? Even better still....do it at home dude rofl

You always start to miss things when they're not there any more. I'll be sad to see the old shape go and i am not sure this new shape does it for me just yet. Pity they didn't do something like the EVO, staying true to form but much more updated in and out. The new Impreza is very different and not sure if that's actually such a good thing.

P.S. Yours is loverrrrly thumbup

Very nice indeed - although i'm not going to agree that it's nicer than mine, that would be akin to agreeing another man's wife is fitter than your own, its very poor form

Well....anyway you look at it....both PHer's Scoobys are very nice, however, anything has got to be better than the latest shots of the new hatchback scooby... www.pistonheads.com/news/default.asp?storyId=16073. sorry guys but that is truly awful and i won't be buying a new one. Not as nice looking as the latest EVO.

Used old style Scooby's just went way up in price!!

I think it looks awesome!! The rear spoiler may be abit big but apart from that it looks really mean, dont know how shitty the standard version will look but who cares cause you'd only want the turbo version

Those pictures are fake...

Look at the one looking at the rear. Look at the left on the inside of the wing. See the reflections don't match and you can see where the join is?

Then look at the one on the track. There are round reflections suggesting studio lights... on a track.. no.

Like i said....i am genuinely hoping they are fakes and it's just someone having a laugh, and what Subaru have produced is infinately very much better. I hope wobble

Personaly I liked the original In two door form. They buggered up the styling with the later ones. Everything about them was wrong. The Hatch's problem is that the Astra sized segment hasn't had any good styling que's since the Mark One Focus and this isn't going to push ut on.
