No, its a proper secret compartment! Not sure its on the uk models Dan.

lol, you were close. In fact, you may argue that this was what you meant.

Under the foglight switch, there is a button. Press this, and a compartment frops down. It is shaped to take a pair of sunglasses, which it does, perfectly.

Mine didn't have a button- it had a cubby hole, whch acted like a handle so you could pull the full monty out for a bigger cubby hole.

Fcuk me what a sad thread!


You sure you aren't thinking of the thing to the right of the fog lamp switch, that looks like a coin holder, but isnt.... thats mysterious.

lol!

seriously now. My mate had a newish polo. Last of the old shape ones. On the B pillar, behind the drivers door, almost in the rear footwell is a secret button.

You press it and the light on it flashes. You press it again, and the lights stays on.

It does nothing else at all.

I had a look for that this morning, I dont think ive got one.

But I discovered that my climate control works!
